The competitive Roblox obby where you race a random tower with no checkpoints — one fall sends you back to the bottom.

Overview
Tower of Hell (ToH) is a round-based obstacle course by YXCeptional Studios. Each round, players climb a randomly generated vertical tower before an eight-minute timer ends. There are no checkpoints: dying or falling restarts your climb from the lobby floor.
Completing the tower before the timer resets speeds up the next round for everyone. Coins earned from progress and wins fund mutators, Gear, and cosmetics in the shop. The experience has billions of visits and won Best Obby at the Roblox Innovation Awards 2024.
New players should expect a steep skill curve. Success comes from parkour fundamentals, reading sections quickly, and staying calm under time pressure — not memorizing a fixed map.
Codes
Tower of Hell codes grant temporary Membership, modifiers, rings, and event rewards. Codes are case-sensitive and often expire without notice after milestones or seasonal events.
The most well-known active code is /freemember, which grants about 36 hours of free Membership with daily coins, exclusive crowns, and coin access to mutators. Always verify codes on this page before redeeming.

- Select the Codes tab inside the shop.
- Type the code exactly as shown and press Redeem.
Membership perks from codes

Controls
PC players use WASD to move, Space to jump, and Shift Lock (Left Shift) to lock the camera behind the character for depth perception on narrow jumps and lava gaps.
Mobile players use a virtual joystick and jump button; precision is harder on small screens, so slower movement and edge alignment matter more than raw speed.
Enable Shift Lock
In Roblox settings while in-game:
- Open the Roblox menu (three lines) → Settings.
- Set Movement Mode to Keyboard + Mouse (not Click to Move).
- Turn Shift Lock Switch to On.
- Press Left Shift during gameplay to toggle lock.
Shift Lock not working?
If Shift Lock fails to activate, check these fixes in order:
- Movement Mode must be Keyboard + Mouse — Click to Move blocks Shift Lock.
- Disable Windows Sticky Keys and test again.
- Set display scaling to 100% if input feels offset.
- Disable Xbox Game Bar overlay if Shift stops responding after overlay use.
- On Chromebook, Roblox may treat the client as mobile; keyboard lock support is limited.
Tips & Strategy
Watch the bottom sections for 30–60 seconds before climbing. You learn kill-part timing, safe lines, and whether players use shortcuts on the current random tower.
Keep Shift Lock on for most technical sections. Maintain momentum through chained jumps where possible, hug the inside line on corners, and avoid panic when the round timer is visible.
- Do not rush the first section — observation beats blind attempts.
- Use mutators wisely: Invincibility has no downside; High Speed and Low Gravity can make some sections harder.
- Reduce graphics and play on stable internet; lag mid-jump is a common fail cause.
- On mobile, use smaller thumb movements on the joystick for tight ledges.
- Respect other climbers — toxicity does not help anyone finish faster.
Game Modes
Normal Towers are the default lobby experience: shorter towers (typically six sections in beginner lobbies), eight-minute rounds, and standard coin rewards.
Pro Towers double section count and add roughly two extra minutes on the timer. Coin payouts are about 2.5× normal, making Pro the best mode once you consistently clear normal towers.
THE Tower of Hell (Experience ID 2127551566) is a separate expert experience with a fixed mega-tower of developer sections, no round timer, and no mutators — built for endurance practice rather than quick matches.
Mutators & Items
Mutators change physics and rules for the entire server when purchased for a round. Coin mutators are shared purchases; Robux mutators are premium round modifiers.
Gear and rings from the shop or codes alter movement and visuals. Coins come from tower progress, wins, daily login (with Membership), and events.
| Name | Cost | Description |
|---|---|---|
| High Speed | 100 Coins | Increases everyone's speed by 25%. |
| Invincibility | 500 Coins | Disables all kill-parts; they no longer affect health. |
| Low Gravity | 130 Coins | Reduces everyone's gravity by 25%. |
| Fog | 150 Coins | Makes the entire game foggy. |
| Negative | 150 Coins | Inverts colors of the entire game. |
| Lengthen | 150 Coins | Adds another section at the bottom. |
| Extra Time | 50 Coins | Adds two minutes to the round timer. |
| Invisibility | 10 Robux | Makes everyone invisible. |
| Double Jump | 35 Robux | Lets everyone jump twice. |
| Bunny Hop | 10 Robux | Auto-jumps repeatedly without player control. |
| Checkpoints | 30 Robux | Adds checkpoints every two sections. |
| Double Coins | 25 Robux | Doubles coin rewards for the round. |
Sections & Tower Map
Every round assembles a unique tower from a large pool of sections created by YXCeptional Studios and contributors. There is no static world map — the "map" is the procedural stack you get that round.
Community documentation tracks 400+ named sections including regular stages, secret sections, and removed legacy content. Use the database below to search by name, type, and difficulty.

VIP Server Commands
VIP server owners can configure towers from chat commands and the settings menu. These are official tools — not third-party scripts.
Commands like /setLength let private servers practice specific tower sizes (4–200 sections). /skip forces a new tower. /kick removes players. /filtersections limits which section types can spawn.
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
/setLength [4-200] | Sets how many sections generate on the next tower. |
/skip | Skips the current round and generates a new tower. |
/kick [username] | Kicks a player. Use /kick others to remove all other players. |
/filtersections | Filters which section types can spawn in the tower. |
Trello, Discord & Official Links
There is no public official Trello board for Tower of Hell. Many "Trello" search results refer to fan games such as Eternal Towers of Hell (EToH) or Juke's Towers of Hell — different experiences with their own wikis.
For real ToH updates, use the YXCeptional Studios Roblox group, official Discord community, and support.yx.zone for account or purchase help.

Tier List
Because towers are random each round, there is no official tier list ranking every section for competitive play. Skill matters more than memorizing one layout.
Players still rank sections by personal difficulty for practice and debate. You can build and share community tier lists on Tier List Maker — useful for friend groups and content creators, not official game balance.
Scripts & Safety
This site does not provide exploits, auto-complete scripts, or speed hacks. Using third-party scripts violates Roblox Terms of Use and risks permanent account bans.
Legitimate alternatives: VIP server commands, practice in THE Tower, Shift Lock mastery, and watching skilled players on the current random tower. Report exploiters through Roblox reporting tools.
Official Links & Fake Games
Copycat experiences on Roblox reuse the Tower of Hell name with free coils, different experience IDs, or misleading thumbnails. Always confirm Experience ID 1962086868 before spending Robux or grinding progress.

FAQ
Does Tower of Hell have checkpoints?
No. Standard rounds have no checkpoints. Falling or dying returns you to the bottom. Some Robux mutators add temporary checkpoint-style help for a paid round.
How long is each tower round?
Normal towers use roughly eight-minute rounds. Pro towers add about two extra minutes. THE Tower has no round timer.
Why do my codes not work?
Codes are case-sensitive, expire without notice, and are one-time per account. Confirm the code is still listed as active and typed exactly.
Is there an official Tower of Hell Trello?
No public official Trello exists for ToH. EToH/JToH Trellos are for other games.
What is the difference between ToH and EToH?
Tower of Hell is a short random tower obby by YXCeptional. Eternal Towers of Hell (EToH) is a separate multi-tower project by ObrenTune with permanent progression.
How many sections are in the game?
Community wikis document 400+ sections including regular, secret, and removed content. Each live tower only uses a subset per round.
How do I get more coins fast?
Clear more sections per round, win before the timer ends, play Pro Towers for higher payouts, and use Membership daily coins when available.
Does Shift Lock work on mobile?
Shift Lock is primarily a keyboard feature. Mobile relies on camera and joystick control; some devices support Bluetooth keyboards.
Can I practice a fixed tower layout?
Use VIP /setLength and /filtersections on a private server, or play THE Tower for a long fixed section set.
Are scripts safe to use in Tower of Hell?
No. Exploits risk account bans and ruin fair competition. Use VIP commands and practice instead.
